A wizard’s work is never truly done, which is why the Fairy Tail gang is back in action. Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a sequel anime to the popular shonen title that sees Natsu and his friends set off on yet another adventure. The series is slated for the Summer 2024 anime season, but when is the exact release date for Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest?

The first episode of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will debut on July 7, 2024 in Japan. There has been no confirmation about when fans in the US or other international markets can expect to be able to stream the highly anticipated anime, but we suspect Crunchyroll will be where it eventually finds a home. This is based solely on the fact that Crunchyroll has the rights to the previous Fairy Tail anime series.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest takes place one year after the original Fairy Tail series ends and, as the name implies, sees Natsu, Grey, Lucy, and Erza taking on a quest that was originally requested more than 100 years previously. They must attempt to seal the Five Dragon Gods, but a new member of Fairy Tail who is more than what she seems might be a help or a hindrance to their mission.

Almost five years after the original anime ended, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is set to debut on July 7, 2024. No international streaming partner for the new anime has been announced but it is a safe bet that it will find a home on Crunchyroll not long after it premieres.
