For those already looking forward to Apple's upcoming Snoopy series Camp Snoopy, there's more good news coming. Apply has announced that it's developing a brand-new (though yet untitled) Peanuts feature film alongside WildBrain and Peanuts Worldwide. Production on this feature will begin in 2024, and the movie will feature the Peanuts gang as they head to the Big City and learn about friendship.

Apple's Peanuts film will be directed by Setve Martino and have a screenplay written by Karey Kirkpatrick drawn from an orignal story from Craig Schultz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano (who also wrote 2015's The Peanuts Movie). Bonnie Arnold will serve as producer.

About the project, Craig Schulz, son of Peanuts creator Charles Schulz said, “It is so special to carry on my father’s legacy with an original story from me, my son Bryan, and his writing partner Neil... Peanuts fans have been clamoring for another feature for years, and this film will bring joy to our millions of fans around the world."

It certainly has been a hot minute since the last Peanuts movie, but if you're hankering for some Snoopy joy, you can head on over to Apple TV+ now to check out the streaming service's huge Peanuts library which features classics like It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. But perhaps even more exciting, Apple TV+ will be streaming A Charlie Brown Christmas for free on December 16 and 17.

There's a new Snoopy float coming to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year (and we just met him!)
