If the first Aquaman movie did anything, it was introduce a generation of viewers to how amazing life looked in Atlantis — it’s not simply the idea of frolicking under the seas that appealed, nor even the idea of getting to hang out with an octopus that plays the drums; it was the unmistakable sense that, as no less an authority than Sebastian the Crab once put it, it’s better down where it’s wetter. How could we surface dwellers even approach that level of calm?

Thankfully, the merchandise for the upcoming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom answers that question: with licensees including Funko, Spin Master and McFarlane Toys, Aquafans will have their chance to enjoy everything from lifelike action figures (not just Aquaman, Black Manta and villain King Kordax, but also “Aquaman’s trusty sea dragon Storm,” too!) to keychains, costumes — yes, there is a child’s Aquaman costume that includes a Jason Momoa beard, that is not a joke — home goods, and more. Basically, everything that you could want to live your best Atlantean life, courtesy of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, DC, and the many, many licensees involved.

Better yet, this isn’t something you have to keep to yourself. Courtesy of Golden Link, there are exclusive Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom items available for moviegoers, including drink numbers, popcorn buckets, and even a bottle shaped in the hero’s iconic A emblem. It’s the kind of thing that says, “Sure, you think you like Aquaman, but unless your popcorn is in a bucket that looks like Aquaman’s superhero costume, do you really like Aquaman?”

Take a look for yourself:

If this isn’t building excitement for what might be the big holiday hit of 2023, then I don’t know what will. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom opens December 20, and stars Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Kidman, Amber Heard, Dolph Lundrgen, and Randall Park. Keep your eyes on Popverse for more on the movie as it nears release, and remember that we have a guide to all of the upcoming superhero movies from DC, Marvel and more.
