Barbenheimer: Barbie's Margot Robbie and Oppenheimer's Cillian Murphy finally face off, in person

Variety's Actors on Actors are always great pairings, but this one is particularly good

They're back. The summer's biggest hits' biggest stars, we mean. After a long break from promotion due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, we're finally seeing the stars collide with Barbie star Margot Robbie and Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy sitting down for a conversation as a part of Variety's Actors on Actors series.

For those who aren't familiar with Actors on Actors, they're a series of Variety-led interviews between the year's biggest actors, letting fascinating pairs of thespians chat about the craft, their careers, and more. It's wonderful series for the movie (and television) fan, bringing together surprising matches like Jeremy Allen White and Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Lyonne and Melanie Lynskey, and now, summer contenders Cillian Murphy and Margot Robbie, who are coming back into the conversation now as we inch slowly towards the Oscars.

When will we be able to see this explosive interview? December 5th at 8AM Pacific. The full video conversation will debut on Variety's website, their Youtube channel, as well as their social media. In the meantime, I highly recommend checking out the other interviews. A good rule of thumb goes: the weirder the paring, the better the interview.
