It's Cilian Murphy, not Cillian

[Editor's Note; For April Fool's Day, Popverse Deputy Editor Tiffany had fun with commmon mispellings of some actors' names.]

It's hard to get names right. We get that here at Popverse. But to be a real fan of someone, you should probably get their name spelled correctly. So, as a favor to the Real Fans out there, here are some names you might be spelling wrong.

Laurence Fishbourne

You know him from... well, everywhere. Laurence Fishbourne has been one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood for years, from appearances in Apocalypse Now, The Color Purple, Boyz n the Hood, to starring in Othello, The Matrix, and the John Wick movies. And there is a U in his name, thank U very much.

Cilian Murphy

It's one "L" my friends. Star of Oppenheimer Cilian Murphy may be most recognized for his collaboration with Christopher Nolan or for his incredible performance as Thomas Shelby in Peaky Blinders, but one thing you've got to know about him is that it's Cilian, not Cillian.

Britany Spears

Again, it's one "T" not two. Do not hit us one more time, simply hit us once.

Mark Ruffallo

Ruffallo! Ruffallo! Ru-FFa-LLo!

Jodie Whitaker

Doctor Who only has one "T," and so does Jodie Whitaker's name. Don't believe us? How dare...

(If you haven't got it by now - our apologies to the above celebrities, April Fools.)
