Post Malone's Big Rig is coming to New York Comic Con 2025 for a panel with Vault Comics

The Javits Center is going to need a bigger parking lot: Post Malone's Big Rig is coming to NYCC 2025.

Post Malone's demon-slaying tractor-trailer, The Rig, is pulling up to New York Comic Con 2025 next weekend.

Vault Comics and ReedPop are jointly announcing that Post Malone's creator-owned comic book series Big Rig will be the subject of a "star-studded" panel for NYCC 2025 on Friday, October 10. The hour-long panel will be in one of the big panel rooms, 405, beginning at 5 PM - and the announced guests so far are Adrian Wassel (Big Rig co-writer and Vault editor-in-chief), Nathan Gooden (series artist), and Damian Wassel (Vault publisher & CEO). There's no word on whether Big Rig creator/co-writer Post Malone will be there himself, but the publisher does say "some extremely special guests" (plural) are also joining the panel.

Post Malone's Big Rig centers on a mysterious armored 18-wheeler that drops out of the sky in medieval Europe, just when a group of Knights Templar are in need of help fighting back an impending demonic horde invasion. One part Army of Darkness and one part Mad Max: Fury Road, Post Malone's Big Rig is in many ways what his music is: bold, brash, and unafraid to go off-road. The first issue went on sale earlier this year and has already sold over 100,000 copies - and yeah, a movie adaptation is already in the works from the people behind the A Quiet Place and Purge movie franchises.

For those of us going to NYCC 2025, Vault Comics will have two convention-exclusive versions of Big Rig #1, with new covers by Peach Momoko and Pete Carroll. They'll also have regular edition copies of the book (while supplies last, of course), as well as a special deluxe hardcover edition of Post Malone's Big Rig.
