DC's Batman/Deadpool crossover brings Constantine, Harley Quinn, Hulk, Doctor Strange, and more to the party for a "metaphysical car crash" of comics this November
The second Marvel/DC special issue of 2025 will bring some of DC's biggest creators to a crossover that commits to the collision of storytelling styles

If Marvel’s Deadpool/Batman #1 is, in the publisher’s words, “a Marvel/DC crossover more than twenty years in the making,” DC’s counterpart Batman/Deadpool #1 is aiming to be something a little more ambitious when it hits stands this November, with DC describing it as nothing less than “a metaphysical car crash between two storytelling philosophies” — one that is coming from some of the biggest creators to work in superhero comics in recent years.
As announced earlier this year, the main story in the DC issue is by Grant Morrison and Dan Mora, providing what DC is calling “a reality-bending saga that’s equal parts cosmic horror, slapstick noir, and metafictional therapy session” that “knows it’s a comic book, revels in being a comic book, weaponizes its comic bookiness—and dares you to keep reading anyway!” But that’s not all — as with the Marvel Deadpool/Batman issue, DC’s Batman/Deadpool features back-up stories with additional crossovers between DC and Marvel characters:
- Constantine/Doctor Strange by Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Joshua Williamson and Hayden Sherman
- Nightwing/Wolverine by Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo
- Harley Quinn/Hulk by Mariko Tamaki and Amanda Connor
- Static/Ms. Marvel by G. Willow Wilson and Denys Cowan
Covers for the 64-page issue are as follows:
- Dan Mora – Main cover and Batman/Deadpool wraparound

- Mark Brooks – Zatanna/Scarlet Witch
- Jim Cheung and Jay David Ramos – Wonder Woman/Captain America
