Peach Momoko brings the best out of Spider-Man’s on-off love interest Black Cat at New York Comic Con 2025, thanks to Trinity Comics

The Ultimate X-Men writer/artist shows Spider-Man’s complicated, occasional lover, Black Cat, at her finest on a variant cover available from Whatnot House at NYCC 2025

This article is brought to you by Whatnot - the live shopping marketplace. Whether you're here at New York Comic Con or anywhere in the world, you don't have to miss out on some of the big exclusives happening this weekend.

Marvel’s new Black Cat comic book series shows longtime Spider-Man love interest, supporting character, and potentially best friend if we’re being entirely honest about it, Felicia Hardy trying to be her very best self in a world where Peter Parker has mysteriously disappeared. (Fans who are reading The Amazing Spider-Man know why.) So, what better way for Felicia to be her best than by looking her best, courtesy of a variant cover from Peach Momoko?

Momoko — writer/artist of Marvel’s Ultimate X-Men as well as her unofficial ‘Momoko-verse’ titles including X-Men: Demon Days — is one of the hottest artists in the industry currently, and her artwork has appeared on variant covers for everything from The Crow and Image Comics’ Die to Vampirella, Batman: The Adventures Continue, and all across Marvel’s entire line. With that background, she’s a natural to make the most out of Black Cat, as she does on this Trinity Comics exclusive variant for Black Cat #1, available at booth #3434 in the Javits Center as supplies last.

Fans unfamiliar with Trinity shouldn’t worry; the cover will also be available from Whatnot on Friday, October 10, at New York Comic Con 2025 for anyone who visits the Whatnot House — that’s Booth #1000 on the showfloor of the Javits Center.

The Black Cat #1 Peach Momoko Trinity Comics Exclusive Virgin Variant is just one of a number of variant covers Whatnot is bringing to NYCC 2025, with new drops daily, including variants for Batman #1, Harley Quinn #43, and Venom #250 — along with other exclusive merchandise available all weekend. Check out the Whatnot House at Booth #1000 on the show floor.
