Fans of artist Gabriele Dell’Otto have good reason to look forward to October, as he will be contributing no less than ten painted covers to titles across DC’s superhero line as part of a program of artist-led variant covers — and Popverse has an exclusive look at all of them.

As part of his month-long collaboration with the publisher, Dell’Otto — known for his work on Marvel’s Secret War with Brian Michael Bendis, as well as covers for titles including The Dark Knight III, Detective Comics, and the DCeased series written by Tom Taylor — will be providing variant covers for the following October releases:

  • Action Comics #1058
  • Batman #138
  • Catwoman #58
  • Harley Quinn #33
  • The Flash #2
  • Green Lantern: War Journal #2
  • Nightwing #107
  • Shazam #4
  • The Penguin #3
  • Wonder Woman #2

You can see all of the covers in the gallery below.

Dell’Otto is actually the second artist to be part of this creator-centric program, following Rose Besch, who similarly provides eight variant covers for DC books in September. You can see a gallery of her covers — for Batman #137, Green Lantern #3, Harley Quinn #32, Poison Ivy #14, Superman #6, The Flash #1, WildCATs #11, and Wonder Woman #1 — in this gallery:

The artist for the third month of the program will be announced by DC at a later date, according to the publisher.

If you’re a DC fan, you’ll want to pay attention to what the company is planning for San Diego Comic-Con across the next week.
