It’s fair to say that Deadpool 3 is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, if not the most anticipated; it’s the first R-rated Marvel Studios release, the first time Marvel has been in charge of Ryan Reynolds’ snarky fourth-wall-breaking anti-hero, and rumored to be a part of Marvel’s Multiverse Saga that could create a bridge between the Fox X-Men movies and the MCU… and now, excitingly, we have a sneak peek into what’s to come. Kind of.
The latest trailer for Deadpool 3 debuted during Sunday’s Super Bowl, and as might be expected considering the project, it was perhaps a little less traditional than most Super Bowl trailers.

Of course, this isn’t officially the first Deadpool trailer; that would have been the announcement of the movie in the first place, back in September 2022 — an announcement that featured both Reynolds and co-star Hugh Jackman, marking the latter’s unexpected return to the role of Wolverine. Further casting surprises have included Jennifer Garner returning as Elektra, 19 years after she last played the character in her solo Daredevil spin-off… although Garner had previously denied those reports.
Deadpool 3 — Marvel Studios’ sole big-screen release of 2024! — will hit theaters July 26, 2024.
