The 2023 show just finished, but tickets are already on sale for Dragon Con 2024, which has announced its dates for next year’s show — and, in keeping with a tradition that’s lasted more than two decades by this point, it’ll be taking place over Labor Day weekend once again.

Next year’s Dragon Con will run from August 29 through September 2, with tickets already available for purchase online. This year’s show drew somewhere in the region of 70,000 fans across its five day run, who came to see such celebrities as Star Trek’s George Takei, Doctor Who’s Mandip Gill, and comic creators including Tini Howard, Matt Kindt, and Cary Nord. (As well as those who just wanted to enjoy the panels, activities, and chance to hang out with people who get what it's like to love something just as much as they do.)

The Atlanta, Georgia show has taken place across Labor Day weekend since 2001, and been running annually since 1987 (with the exception of 2020, when the show went dark because of COVID). Next year’s event is expected to once again take place between the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Hilton Atlanta, Marriott Marquis, Sheraton, and Westin Peachtree Plaza hotels, as well as AmericasMart Atlanta.

No guests have been announced for next year’s show as of yet, understandably; after all, this year’s event has just finished. Everyone involved is probably still recovering — but keep your eyes on the convention’s official site for details as and when they’re announced.
