Shockingly, there is only one Five Nights at Freddy's game where you actually spend five nights at Freddy's - and it isn't the one you're thinking of
Across ten years and 20 games, only one Five Nights at Freddy's game is technically correct (Which is, of course, the best kind of correct)

Not every game needs to do what the title says, but when a series features a phrase like “Five Nights at Freddy’s” you’d expect it to focus on spending five nights at a place called Freddy’s. However, after careful consideration, we’re prepared to say that you almost never actually spend exactly Five Nights at Freddy’s. In fact, you only ever do it once – and it is in a spin-off game.
It is kind of wild to think about. In ten years across 20 games, there is only one instance where you spend exactly five nights at a Freddy Fazbear establishment. Normally, you spend six or seven nights, with the final night being an epilogue or final boss. Even in the first Five Nights at Freddy’s game, you can spend a total of seven nights if you complete the custom mode at the end of the game.
The only game that takes place over exactly five nights is Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit, which technically takes place in two different time periods while only five nights are shown in the game. While the time travel aspect throws a big asterisk on this, we are going to call it in favor of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit being the only technically accurate title in the series. Even so, it is actually a spin-off of the main series with a totally different style of gameplay.
We’re not saying that there is anything wrong with throwing a bit of extra gameplay at us; we just think it is wild we never noticed this before.
