Fitting as much detail as you can in the space allotted in your average Magic: The Gathering card is already a challenge. Now imagine having to represent each character within the Sinister Six. It’s a feat that’s easier said than done. 

Through some artistic wizardry, Magic: The Gathering artist Jonas de Ro accomplished the impossible with an exclusive card called Behold, the Sinister Six! This specific promo card is available only at PAX West 2025’s Magic: The Gathering x Marvel’s Spider-Man panel and at their booth at the convention this weekend, as game designer Mark Rosewater mentioned during the panel. The iconic Spider-Man villains - Kraven the Hunter, Electro, The Vulture, Sandman, Doctor Octopus, and Mysterio are all represented in the card’s artwork. Check it out below. 

Of course, there are two other versions of the card, with different art, included in Marvel’s Spider-Man set. Nathaniel Himawan drew one version of the card, with the villains artfully spaced out from each other, while comic book artists Leinil Francis Yu and Sonny Gho drew a full art version of the card that paints the villains in all of their comic book glory, which we've attached below.
