Is Spider-Man MTG getting Commander decks?
Wizards of the Coast decided early on that the MTG x Spider-Man set would not have any Commander decks and would be Standard-only cards. It became such an issue that Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks spoke about it during a company stock conference in early 2024.

As of August 29, 2025, the most expensive card in the MTG Spider-Man set is a variant edition of the Soul Stone featuring a glimpse of the Inbetweener. CardKingdom lists it as a $24.99 card, but look for that price to fluctuate wildly leading up to and through release.

It has been confirmed that Wizards of the Coast has several sets planned with Marvel following Spider-Man's September 2025 release. While they haven't revealed what those are, it is fair to hope for something from the X-Men, The Avengers, and more.
