Have you ever wanted to get 1-3 of your buddies together to play a bit of Magic: The Gathering? Only, you didn't want to actually play against your friends, but rather play with them? Well, the upcoming Magic: The Gathering x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set has your back!
The Magic: The Gathering x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Team-Up Bundle is an entirely new game mode within Magic: The Gathering. That's because it's a co-op game, meaning that it hinges upon the players' cooperation together. With the Turtle Team-Up Bundle, 2-4 players will be able to band together to fight "automatic bosses," which are composed of cards within the set. The enemies that players will be able to fight include classic heavies like Shredder and Krang.

As the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universes Beyond development told me at a meeting, the idea behind the Turtle Team-Up Bundle was that the Magic: The Gathering team wanted a way for newer players to participate with experienced players, without the newbie having to play against the seasoned veteran. Since this co-op is based around teaming up, the play experience in the Team-Up Bundle is much less daunting for noobs.
The Turtle Team-Up Bundle comes with 4 decks, one for each turtle. So while you won't be fighting your friends when you play this co-op game, you may have to fight each other over who gets to play as Donnie.
