WWE 2K25 release date: How to unlock the upcoming wrestling game for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC a week early

Depending on which edition of WWE 2K25 you pick up, you can play it a week before everyone else.

It is another year, which means that 2K Games has another batch of sports games with updated rosters to dive into. With WWE 2K25, the series offers more than 300 current and former wrestling superstars to unlock when it is released in just a few weeks. However, fans who want to dive in early can pre-order one of the special editions of the game to unlock it a few days early.

For most players, WWE 2K25 will be released on March 14, 2025 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles and PC. However, if you pre-order the Deadman or Bloodline Editions of the game, you’ll be able to play it on March 7, 2025 instead. That extra week also comes with the game’s Season Pass, which includes 5 post-launch DLC character packs and all of the WWE Legends characters.

There is a downside to these perks, however. Not only do the special editions come with a hefty price tag but they’re only available in as digital editions, meaning that you won’t be able to add the game to your physical collection. If that isn’t a sticking point for you and you don’t mind paying $99.99 for the Deadman Edition or $129.99 for the Bloodline Edition of WWE 2K25, then you can unlock the game a week before everyone with the Standard Edition.

WWE 2K25 is out for PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as PC on March 14, 2025 for most players. Those who purchase the Deadman and Bloodlines Editions will unlock the game a week earlier on March 7, 2025.
