Netflix and Outback Steakhouse are asking you to murder a Bloomin' Glass Onion (and destroy the evidence)

If you succeed with your dastardly plot (and record it), you'll be able to nab your next Bloomin' Onion for free

In preparation for the release of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Netflix and Outback are asking you to consider a classic Bloomin' Onion as a potential murder victim, murder it, and then #DestroyTheEvidence. And if you do decide to follow this dark path and send in a video of you destroying that onion-murdering evidence (which may seem counterintuitive, but trust the process), you can get a voucher to get another Bloomin' Onion for free (with the purchase of an entrée).

Disappointingly, the Bloomin' Onion you are meant to murder is not a special themed Bloomin' Onion at all, but what seems to be a fairly normal one. However, you can add your own pizazz to your meal by destroying that evidence in the most dramatic way possible, as featured in Outback's promotional video (worth a watch, it's very weird).

To qualify for the free Bloomin' Onion, you'll need to upload a video of yourself or your party destroying the evidence of that sad, sad murdered onion and send it to www.bloominglassonion.com before midnight ET on 12/25/22. Make sure to include your receipt clearly in your video. The voucher can be redeemed any time from January 2, 2023 to February 5, 2023.

So drive your getaway car down to your local Outback and order that famed snack, if not for yourself, and if not for the success of the modern whodunit franchise, then for the glory of the greasy deep fried oniony goodness

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be available to stream on Netflix on December 23, 2022.
