IHOP has hired Willy Wonka as its new chef - and the menu is as wild as you'd expect

I'd be wary of the blueberry pancakes in this case

The magical world of Wonka has descended on the International House of Pancakes, and it's created a menu that only those with the most sweet of sweet tooths could appreciate. Of course, there's a chance I may be simply old (and lacking the childlike wonder that comes with such things), but I simply cannot remember the last time I ate (or wanted to eat) "pancake tacos" a.k.a. chocolate pancakes filled with chocolate chips, cheesecake mouse, strawberries, and chocolate drizzle.

Other things Wonka (and sweet) fans can find on this Wonka-led menu are Wonka's Perfectly Purple Pancakes (which feature purple cream cheese icing, whipped topping, and gold glitter sugar), the aforementioned Hoverchoc Pancake Tacos, Daydream berry Biscuit (a biscuit split and filled with cheesecake mousse, a mixed berry topping, with powdered sugar and mixed berry topping), Jr. Magical Breakfast Medley (a purple pancake, scrambled egg, bacon strip, and pork sausage), Willy's Jr. French Toast Dippers (french toast with strawberries, banana, and chocolate sauce), Dreamy Lemonade (prickly pear flavored, with cream cheese icing rainbow sprinkle rim and cotton candy), Scrumdiddlyumption Strawberry Hot Chocolate (strawberry syrup hot chocolate with whipped topping, chocolate sauce, and gold glitter sugar), and the Fantastical Wonka Burger (a Black Angus beef steakburger with the usual toppings plus avocado, bacon, hash browns, IHOP sauce, and ranch).

Now if that menu can't satisfy your sweet tooth, Willy Wonka might as well retire now. For those who do want to search out this sugar-laden menu, IHOP's Wonka tie-in menu will be available all the way through January 7, 2024. During this time, kids 12 and under will be able to eat free (dine in only) from 4-7 PM with the purchase of an adult entrée.

Warner Bros' Wonka will be hitting theaters on December 15. Buy tickets on Fandango or Atom Tickets.
