Not everyone was certain that an animated adaptation of the violent superhero satire comic by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley would make for a successful television show. But boy, were they wrong. Released in a time where blockbusters and superheroes have felt synonymous for a while, Amazon Studio's first season of Invincible felt to many like a breath of fresh air and a new take on what has become the norm in big box office land.

Following the story of Mark Grayson, a teenager whose father happens to be the most powerful superhero in the world, Invincible imagines what might happen if you actually lived where superpowers (and superheroes) exist and what the day-to-day and world-level consequences might be.

The first season of Invincible was released on March 25, 2021, and by the time the season reached it's finale, Amazon Studios had already announced that the series was going to be renewed for a second and third season.

Now, almost two years later, we've finally gotten our first trailer for the upcoming season of Invincible, and we can't be more excited.

While there have been no dates announced for Invincible season 2, keep an eye on this page (and our comprehensive superhero tv schedule), as we'll make sure to update the information we have as it comes in.
