Is DC's Justice League returning? Absolute Power tie-in hints at the return of the Big Seven (or a Seven)

The Seven are coming this summer from DC. But is it the Big Seven of the Justice League?

They died April 26, 2022 with the release of Justice League #75 - in a story DC titled as such, 'The Death of the Justice League.' In it, the team was dissolved and many of its heroes spirited off. It was the introduction to a major crossover event called Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths where a big villain threatened the DC, and the Justice League wasn't there to stop it - and thus rose a new generation of heroes, lead by the Titans. In some ways it was the pinnacle of the overarching 'Dawn of DC' event.

But things, they are a changing.

Since then, the individual heroes of the Justice League have returned to the DCU but have purposefully not re-formed the Justice League. Then earlier today we broke news that DC was ending its 'Dawn of DC' initative in favor of the upcoming Absolute Power event and whatever comes after that... But now, following that, we have news of a Abslute Power tie-in issue that could be the first signs of the Justice League returning.

Coindiding with Absolute Power's summer release, there is a seven-issue tie-in series called Absolute Power: Task Force Seven. Two uses of the number seven, which, for DC fans is a bold number as it is often used to refer to the original seven heroes who made up the Justice League, or the 'Big Seven' that have come to define it in some of its strongest eras.

Now we could just be turning our hopes into something grander. This isn't a rumor, or a leak. This is pure speculation based on the above facts that are coing into focus.

But do you want to see the Justice League returnt o DC Comics? Tell us in this poll, and in the comments.

Or it could be the return of Justice League Task Force (but I hope not).
