Another Anime Expo has come and gone and left us wanting more. Thankfully more is on the way as the dates for Anime Expo 2026 have been announced just as the previous show ended. This is the biggest convention in the anime calendar, so we can’t wait to see it again.

No big surprises for fans that Anime Expo 2026 will be back at the Los Angeles Convention Center and will once again be held over the July 4th weekend. That’s right, you can celebrate Independence Day in the best way possible by attending Anime Expo 2026 on July 2 - 5, 2026. Over 100,000 anime fans pass through the convention hall, making it the largest anime convention in North America every year.

Every year, Anime Expo brings the best and most popular figures in Japanese animation to LA so they can share what they’re working on with the rest of the world. It is where we got our first glimpse of the new Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt episodes and is where release dates for some of the biggest shows are likely to be announced. There is no bigger date in the anime calendar for the English-speaking world, which is why we want to make sure that we clear our schedule for those days as soon as possible. There is just too much going on for us to risk missing out.

Anime Expo 2026 will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on July 2 - 5, 2026 and we’re already counting down the days.
