Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee are reteaming for Batman: Hush 2 - and now we know when
The six-part follow-up to the classic 2002 story will begin in early 2025
Popverse's top stories of the day
- Denzel Washington has a role in Marvel's Black Panther 3, which will be one of the actor's last before retirement (if it gets greenlit)
- Oscar Isaac would *love* to do Ru Paul's Drag Race, and even has his drag name already picked out
- How Lego Masters plays with the building blocks of reality TV
As if bringing DC Vertigo back, announcing a second Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong series, and revealing a brand-new Peacemaker Presents comic book series wasn’t enough, DC’s Jim Lee & Friends panel at Saturday at New York Comic Con also gave fans what they’ve been waiting a long time for: details of the much-anticipated sequel to Batman: Hush by Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb.
The six-issue storyline will re-team the entire creative team behind the fan-favorite 2002 run: Loeb and Lee will be joined by inker Scott Williams, letterer Richard Starkings, and colorist Alex Sinclair. While the details of the storyline remain under wraps beyond the initial promises that not everyone will make it out alive — which, to be fair, it’s a Jeph Loeb storyline and he does like killing characters — and that the story will impact current DCU continuity.
Hush 2 — or H2SH, as the t-shirts worn by the creative crew on the panel put it — begins in Batman #158, released in March 2025, but fans don’t have to wait that long to find out more: a preview will appear in the first issue of Justice League Unlimited, released November 27.
