Track all the announcements from Marvel's Spider-Man and his Venomous Friends panel at New York Comic Con 2024!
Popverse members can follow along with us as we liveblog Marvel's Spider-Man and His Venomous Friends panel at New York Comic Con
Popverse was there for all four days of New York Comic Con 2024, immersing ourselves in the pop culture party full of vendors, events, and celebrities from the worlds of comics, movies, TV, gaming, and more. If you couldn't make it (or are worried you missed something) click the link for our wall-to-wall coverage of the event.
It's hard to imagine Spider-Man in Marvel Comics today without the gaggle of symbiote characters floating in his orbit. With characters like Lasher, Scream, Agony, Toxin, and more joining Venom and Carnage in the fray, the world of Spider-Man is very busy. Let's also not forget that Ben Reilly got mutated by a polymer and took on the identity of Chasm (I find "Captain Microplastics" to be more fitting for his condition, but Ben probably wouldn't like being called that).
The Marvel Comics: Spider-Man and his Venomous Friends panel will dive into what's in store for Spider-Man, Venom, and the rest of their spider crew in the coming months. It will also detail the upcoming storyline "8 Deaths of Spider-Man" in The Amazing Spider-Man, as well as the aftermath of Venom War. The panelists include Executive Editor Nick Lowe, Senior Editor Jordan D. White, and talent such as Joe Kelly. The panel will take place on Sunday, October 20 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm EST.
If you're not able to make it down to the Javits Center for the panel, fear not. Popverse members will be able to view our liveblog of the panel as it unfolds in real time. To stay in the loop on all things Spider-Man, bookmark this page and return on Sunday, October 20 at 2:00pm EST when the liveblog begins. And remember to stay flexy!
