From the far-flung futures of science fiction to the steamy bedrooms of romantasy, meet your favorite authors at New York Comic Con’s literary hub

As much as it is a gathering for anime fans, gamers, and some of the best cosplayers in the world, New York Comic Con 2025 might as well be the world’s biggest book club for every single readers turning out. And as I’m sure I don’t need to tell you, the authors of the works they love are also there in droves, staking claim in the Javits Center as part of the world-famous NYCC Writers Block.
NYCC 2025 is thrilled to welcome some of the biggest names in romantasy, science fiction, and LitRPGs as folks like Veronica Roth, Crystal Valesquez, and Matt Dinniman will be greeting fans and signing books at this fall’s edition of the Northeast’s premiere pop culture event. But don’t get us wrong - those names don’t even scratch the surface of all the authors attending the con. To learn more, see a better list right here:

With NYCC 2025 still a few months away as of this writing — it runs October 9 through 12 — it's entirely possible that even more names could be added to this list, so keep an eye on Popverse for any updates. Don't let the fact that this list might grow make you think the number of available NYCC tickets will do the same, though. Just like the above authors' books, those passes are flying off shelves.
