Michelle Yeoh's Star Trek movie could spawn a TV series of its own if fans "love it" says director
Star Trek: Section 31 came to NYCC and answered questions about its possible future

Olatunde Osunsanmi, director of the upcoming Star Trek: Section 31 movie, brought his cast to New York Comic Con, and teased that things could go beyond a one-off film.
After talking to cast members Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, Robert Kazinsky, and Michelle Yeoh—who appeared via a live feed from Prague—Osunsanmi took questions from the audience. Asked whether the film, which Osunsanmi revealed would be released on Paramount+ on January 24, could lead to a series, he said, “the more you love it, the possibilities are endless,” to big cheers from the audience.
And the cheers got even bigger when the fan asked Oscar-winner Yeoh whether she would be able to do a series if such an opportunity presented itself. “I’ll always be available for Section 31,” she said.
“We’re excited to show to you,” said Osunsanmi. “We hope you guys all love it.”
