p> J.R. Tolkien fans have waited nearly a decade for Middle-Earth to once again come to live-action - and it is now with Amazon Prime Video's Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power. The first two episodes of the long-awaited series debut on Amazon Prime Video this evening.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power stars Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Nazanin Boniadi, Peter Mullan, and more as the key players during the major events of the Second Age of Middle-Earth. The series includes both well-known Tolkien characters and original characters for the show. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is created by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay.

Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power debuts Thursday evening on September 1 in the US, with subsequent episodes debuting Friday mornings beginning September 9.
