It’s the end of an era for Marvel in July — the Vampire Era, that is, as Blood Hunt comes to its inevitably bloody and violent conclusion in the new round of Marvel solicitations for July 2024 (but don’t worry; the Red Band variants will live on, thanks to the new Werewolf by Night series, which gets a Blood Hunt tie-in prelude this month). Elsewhere, Peter Parker goes into Goblin mode in Amazing Spider-Man, while fans get two separate glimpses into the future of the Marvel Universe with the collected edition of Avengers: Twilight and the first issue of Spider-Man: Reign II… and, of course, the X-Men get to emerge From the Ashes as the much-anticipated linewide reboot finally gets underway!

Below, we’ve got the complete list of planned comics from Marvel for July (and beyond, because some books need to be advertised and ordered in advance for size and scale purposes… there are books releasing in December you’ll find if you read on!), from the X-Men through Avengers, Star Wars, and beyond. It’s a lot to take in, we understand, and so we’ve split them up into families for ease of use: X-Men, Spider-Man, Avengers, Marvel Universe, Ultimates, Beyond the Marvel Universe (those would be the non-Star Wars licensed titles), and Star Wars.

These are what's the industry calls solicitations - as in they're putting these out to solicit their customers (in this case, comic book stores and book stores) to pre-order. Somewhere in the past 15 years, these solicits became as much for readers as they were for retailers, but the name 'solicitations' stuck around.

Coming at you when you least expect it, these are Marvel’s July 2024 comic books. This is what the future of the Marvel Universe looks like.
