It’s been quite a year for Milly Alcock. Her film Supergirl hit theaters in June, and the actress has been on a massive press tour promoting the movie. However, in between her various promotional appearances, Alcock was also filming Kara’s next cinematic outing, Man of Tomorrow. The film, which will feature David Corenswet’s Superman and Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor, has been described as the next chapter of the Superman Saga.

Alcock says it was difficult to switch gears from promoting Supergirl to filming her next appearance. “It’s hard to code switch, and it’s a different environment than the environment that we had on Supergirl,” Milly Alcock said during a conversation with Josh Horowitz for the Happy Sad Confused podcast. “It’s a different story. But all the cast I’ve gotten to work with have been super open and really lovely. Like Nicholas Hoult, David – love him. Alan [Tudyk], who plays Gary the Robot was also there. He’s so funny. And Lars [Eidinger, who's playing Brainiac in the new movie].”

Alcock isn’t sure what’s next for Kara, but she’s loving every minute of the ride. “I’m excited to keep doing it,” Alcock continued. The actress was pressed for more details on the movie, but she was careful to avoid spoilers. “I’m not going to tell you things.”

Fair enough. I suppose we’ll all find out together when Man of Tomorrow hits theaters on July 9, 2027.
