WATCH: From Hocus Pocus to Shape of Water, monster maker Doug Jones shared creature career secrets at Emerald City Comic Con 2022

He's been in What We Do in the Shadows, Star Trek: Discovery, and was freaking ABE SAPIEN in the Hellboy movies. But at ECCC '22, Doug Jones needed no SFX to make a sensation

How many people have a career comparable to Doug Jones? Lon Cheney? Boris Karloff? Maybe kinda Andy Serkis? The point I'm getting at is that the list creature actor Jones is on is a short one, and that the Shape of Water star is fairly close to the top of it. Which is why we were sure to be at Emerald City Comic Con 2022, when the What We Do in the Shadows and Buffy the Vampire Slayer icon took the stage before a massive crowd of freak fans for an unforgettable tell-all.

And you can watch this panel from the immense Popverse convention panel video archive now as a preview of what Popverse members get live and immediately after the upcoming New York Comic Cons, Emerald City Comic Cons, C2E2s, and Florida Supercons.
