Godzilla is among the best-recognized of all Kaiju, and Godzilla Minus One is one of the most popular Godzilla movies of them all. So, it's no surprise that the movie is receiving a sequel: Godzilla Minus Zero. But when can you expect the release date for Godzilla Minus Zero to stomp its way into your local theater?
The Godzilla Minus Zero release date is November 6th, 2026 in theaters in the United States. The movie will be released three days earlier in Japan, on November 3rd, 2026 (also known as Godzilla Day). It has been about three years since the original movie, Godzilla Minus One, was released in theaters. And of course, there are plenty of additional movie release dates that you'll want to keep in mind this autumn. Here's the official first look teaser for Godzilla Minus Zero:
Godzilla Minus Zero is set two years after the events of Godzilla Minus One. The story will once again focus on the Shikishima family as they face another tragedy. The cast features Ryunosuke Kamiki as Kōichi Shikishima, Minami Hamabe as Noriko Ōishi, Munetaka Aoki as Sōsaku Tachibana, Hidetaka Yoshioka as Kenji Noda, Miou Tanaka as Tatsuo Hotta and Sae Nagatani as Akiko.
The release date for Godzilla Minus Zero in American theaters is November 6th, 2026.
