In addition to the global digital release on Netflix in early November, the film also enjoyed a limited theatrical release that began on October 17, 2025. While there have been literally hundreds of movies featuring Frankenstein’s monster, Del Toro’s unique authorial vision ensures that his adaptation of the classic text is sure to stand out among the pitchfork-wielding crowd... Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein will feature Oscar Isaac as Doctor Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as Frankenstein’s monster. The cast will also feature Mia Goth as Lady Elizabeth Harlander, fiancée to Victor’s younger brother William Frankenstein (Felix Kammerer). The cast also features Lars Mikkelsen as Captain Anderson, Christoph Waltz as Henrich Harlander and Charles Dance as Baron Leopold Frankenstein. Rounding out the cast is Lauren Collins as Hunter’s Wife, David Bradley as Blind Man, Sofia Galasso as Little Girl, Ralph Ineson as Professor Krempe and Burn Gorman as Executioner.
