How to clean fake blood off your clothes, according to Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis

Dawn for Dishes is the best way to clean up fake blood, according to scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis

Are you covered in fake blood and trying to clean up?

Maybe you’re working on a student film, or you’re getting a headstart on the next Halloween party. Perhaps you’re playing a prank on a friend. We’re not here to judge you, we just want to help you clean up.

Jamie Lee Curtis is no stranger to fake blood. The actress has starred in Halloween, Terror Train, The Fog, Prom Night, and numerous other horror films. In other words, she’s been around a lot of fake blood and has some tips for how to clean it off.

“The hardest part of the day is getting the blood off. And by the way, Dawn for Dishes. Who knew,” Jamie Lee Curtis says during a spotlight panel at New York Comic Con 2022.

Curtis also spoke about what it’s like being around horror and death all day, and then coming home and shaking it off. “You know, it doesn’t stick with me. It’s not anything that I need to shed or do something to counteract it. It’s just not sort of me. I’m sitting here at [New York Comic Con] with you guys, and later I’ll be in my room by myself, and I will think back on this and I will try to explain it to somebody in my family, and they’ll tell me that the dog vomited or something. Life is going on around us.”

She didn’t say if Dawn for Dishes would work on the dog vomit too, but that’s a mess for another time.
