KPop Demon Hunters band HUNTR/X is performing live for the first time (and on US television!), even though they're not real
The singing voices behind Netflix's animated megahit - that is, Ejae, Nuna and Rei Ami - are set to perform KPOp Demon Hunter songs on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

The fact that HUNTR/X are technically a fictional band, created for Netflix's animated megahit KPop Demon Hunters, hasn't kept them off of millions of Spotify playlists. Now, their fictionality is proving not to be an obstacle in the band actually performing in the real world... you know, without actually battling demons. Yes, HUNTR/X is lined up for an upcoming live performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Sorta.
The story comes from Variety, who reported September 29 that the voices of Rumi, Mira and Zoey will appear on the NBC late-night talkshow. But don't get confused - the voice actors performing on the show will be the characters' singing voices - Ejae, Nuna and Rei Ami, all popstars in their own right. In case you didn't know, the film splits up the voice actors for its titular characters into two groups: the singing voices (listed above) and the speaking voices - Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo.
Of the two groups, only the former will be on Fallon's show.
Variety also reports that the number Ejae, Nuna and Rei Ami will be performing is (perhaps unsurprisingly), the now-ubiquitous Golden, a song that has skyrocketed to the Billboard Top 100 charts. It was reported, on September 22, to have been occupying a coveted spot for six weeks.
HUNTR/X performs on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon October 7.
