Geena Davis says one of her biggest goals is to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Geena Davis wants to be in a Marvel movie (preferably as a villain), and who are we to stop her?

Geena Davis has been a ghost, a journalist, a rat’s foster mother, and a fugitive. She’s worn many hats throughout her film career, but there’s one role that has been out of her grasp. “One of my biggest goals is to be in a Marvel movie, I have to say,” Geena Davis revealed during the A League of Her Own spotlight panel at C2E2 2026.
“It used to be Star Wars, and I was like, ‘I’ve got to get in there,’” Davis continued. “But yeah, a Marvel character. Maybe a villain or something. I should go through their whole catalog of characters and see if there is anybody like me.”
Firstly, there is no-one like Geena Davis beyond Geena Davis. You did see the list of cinematic career options the woman has gone through above, right? Secondly, Kevin Feige, if you’re reading this, don’t let this opportunity pass you by. The Marvel Cinematic Universe could benefit from having Geena Davis as a villain. Maybe she would make a good crime boss. (Feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments below.)
