Ryan Reynolds just posted a mysterious Christmas video in full Deadpool garb, and it is very frustrating
Heads up Marvel fans, Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds just handed us all a Christmas gift, but is keeping it tightly wrapped

Patience, we suppose, is one of the virtues Christmas inspires. Waiting to open presents, waiting for Santa, waiting for just the day itself - it seems like the only thing more important than sleighbells on your horses is holding them. But there's a difference between being impatient and being unjustly teased, and after Ryan Reynolds's latest Instagram story, we're pretty solidly in the latter category. On November 22, the Deadpool & Wolverine actor posted a video that seems to tease a Deadpool Christmas project... without any sound.
You can check out the video over at The Direct, who reported on it earlier. Go ahead and feel the frustration as you watch Reynolds, in full Deadpool regalia, speak very excitedly to the camera about something which we cannot hear, then pan over to a bluescreen-backed Santa's sleigh while a "snowy" effect reigns down from above. It would be a great ad for something, but unless you can read lips, it's nothing more than a tease.
(Seriously though, if you can read lips, tell us what he's saying in the comments.)
If we had to take a wild guess, it would be that Reynolds is filming a Christmas commercial for Deadpool & Wolverine, which came to DVD and Blu-ray (and steelbook) October 22. Than again, there's been quite a bit of mistletoeing for the Merc with a Mouth over on the Disney Parks social media pages, who just announced that, this Christmas, their live Story Time with Deadpool event would be getting a jolly twist in the Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special update.
Could Reynolds himself be donning a festive red suit (either one you're thinking of works) and headed to meet some fans as a seasonal surprise? Who can say?
We can say, though, that you shouldn't let your kids ask Deadpool for gifts. Unless you're real cool with some real weird stuff.
