The Avengers are Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. But should they be trusted to babysit your children?
That question was poised to Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner. As a father, Renner considered which of the fictional Marvel heroes he would trust his kids with. “Black Widow, I guess,” Renner answers during a Florida Supercon panel.
The actor then broke down why his other teammates wouldn’t be up to the task.
“Hulk will smash. Iron Man is too arrogant. He would just forget that the kid is there. Captain America? I guess, but I don’t think he’s got the sensitive touch. Thor…really? He would be too busy combing his hair. I’m going to stick with Scarlet Witch and Black Widow looking after my kid.”
Fair enough. Although, I’m now wondering which member of the Guardians of the Galaxy he would use as backup. My money is on Groot. He seems gentle.
