Watch Shang-Chi's Simu Liu and Meng'er Zhang basically prove they're siblings in real life at NYCC 2025

Shang-Chi (Liu) and Xu Xialing (Zhang) came to New York Comic Con 2025 to give behind-the-scenes-secrets, tease future projects like Avengers: Doomsday, and - most importantly - mercilessly tease each other

We've heard movie casts refer to each other as "family" before, but few have proved it like the leads of Marvel Studio's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. At New York Comic Con 2025, on-screen siblings Simu Liu and Meng'er Zhang took to the stage to share happy memories, a whole lot of love, and like any healthy family, absolutely scathing burns. Popverse was there to experience the whole thing, and so of course we had to film it for you.

Oh, and I guess they talked about Marvel and stuff too? I don't know, we were too busy recovering from Meng'er's one-liners.

This is one of the numerous panels from New York Comic Con 2025 that Popverse filmed. Consult our New York Comic Con 2025 panel video guide for a list of all of the panels we filmed, and when we'll be releasing them
