Elizabeth Berkley’s 12-year-old son isn’t allowed to watch Showgirls yet (but her Saved by the Bell co-star Mark-Paul Gosselaar has offered to watch it with him when it’s time)

Elizabeth Berkley isn’t ready for her 12-year-old son to watch her nude scenes in Showgirls

Elizabeth Berkley loves sharing her work with her son. However, there are some projects she’s not ready for him to experience.

“With Saved by the Bell, my son loves to watch everything about the show, even the reboot. I don’t let him watch everything I’ve done, but Saved by the Bell, he’s allowed to watch that,” Berkley says during a panel at GalaxyCon Oklahoma City 2025.

Her reference to her son not being allowed to see everything she’s done received an audible reaction from the audience, as it was clear what she was referring to. After wrapping Saved by the Bell, Berkley starred in the 1995 film Showgirls. Berkely played the role of a Las Vegas stripper, which meant that her character had multiple nude scenes.

Berkley’s son is currently 12-years-old, and she isn’t ready to introduce him to that film yet. However, one of her Saved by the Bell co-stars offered to help her out when the time comes.

“Let me know when he can watch, and I’ll watch it with him,” Mark-Paul Gosselaar jokes.

“Like a good uncle,” Berkeley replies.

“I’ll be like his guide,” Gosselaar says.

That’s what uncles are for.
