Of course Nathan Fillion kept his Green Lantern ring (and one other Guy Gardner prop) from James Gunn's Superman movie

The set of Superman was brimming with props, so it isn't surprising that at least two "disappeared" while Nathan Fillion was on set.

Movies like Superman spend a fortune on making every little detail look perfect, from the sets to the special effects to the props and costumes the cast wears. For many cast members, the temptation to take something home as a memento of their time on set is too strong to resist. Nathan Fillion, who brings Green Lantern bad boy Guy Gardner to life this summer, reveals that he walked off with at least two unique props from the Superman set.

Fillion made the confession during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live just before the premiere of Superman took place in Los Angeles. When asked if he took the wig home with him after filming ended, Fillian admitted, “I didn’t take the wig. You’d think it’s not a big deal, but by the end of the day I couldn’t wait to get that thing off my head so I didn’t really think to take that one.”

That didn’t mean Fillion didn’t have his eyes peeled on the set of Superman for something that would be welcome in his private collection. “If there’s something I see on set that I want… I don’t steal. ‘Steals’ a strong word. But I’ll say like, ‘Oh! This is really nice. Did you hear what happened to it? It got stolen… It got stolen a little later on today.’ And then you just see how they react to that.”

So what items did Nathan Fillion definitely not steal from the set of Superman? “I kept the ring from Superman. The Green Lantern ring. Because of course. Wouldn’t you?”

Full disclosure, we absolutely would.

“And I also kept my… Guy Gardner has a gold tooth. I kept the tooth. It fits to me. No one else can wear it. Whose gonna wear that?”

We guess it isn’t stealing if it’s your tooth.
