There's that old saying, third time's the charm. That's what Fantastic Four fans are hoping for this summer with the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. As a noted member of the Sue Storm Squad, I can't wait to see Vanessa Kirby tackle the role of The Invisible Woman. All I need from this movie is for it to give Sue the spotlight she's always deserved, get the culture of New York City right, and have a plot that makes sense.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps has a release date of July 25, 2025. That is a couple of weeks after DC Studios's Superman film flies into theaters. While the Superman marketing campaign is well underway on social media, Marvel Studios has remained more tightlipped about what's in store for Marvel's First Family this summer. You can check out the trailer for the film below.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps brings together Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, and John Malkovich in an undisclosed role. Considering how the architecture of the Marvel Universe was formed in the pages of the first one hundred issues of Fantastic Four by Jack Kirby, the Fantastic Four's arrival into the MCU is highly anticipated. Not to mention Ralph Ineson's velvet voice is going to breathe life into the planet-eating entity Galactus.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
