The Wile E. Coyote AMA on Reddit turned out to be the most inspirational thing you'll read today

As we all fall in love with Coyote vs. Acme, the film's star takes to Reddit to deliver the the motivation we all needed

One of the greatest things about Reddit is the occasional Ask Me Anything threads that pop up. There have been major stars and figures who have taken part in the past, but few have been as iconic as the recent Wile E. Coyote AMA that happened in the r/movies subreddit this week. As the world finally gets to see Coyote vs. Acme in cinemas, fans got to ask Wile E. Coyote about his life, his work, and his goals.

The results were a mixture of inspiring and hilarious.

The Reddit AMA was done entirely in-character, which meant that Wile E. Coyote (Super Genius) communicated entirely through the use of images of himself holding signs. Answers were short but oddly poignant. When one user asked the cartoon character how he managed to pick him up over and over again and try one more time, Wile E. Coyote responded with a simple, “I’m not done.”

Honestly, I need that framed and stuck above my desk as a reminder when things get tough.

Another excellent moment from the Wile E. Coyote AMA was when a user thanked the character for “running into paintings of tunnels for all those years.”

“Keep art alive,” was Wile E. Coyote’s response, which feels very much like the attitude toward Coyote vs. Acme on the whole.

The best instance of Inspirational Coyote was when a user mentioned that another coyote went viral in Southern California for successfully catching a roadrunner, something Wile E. Coyote has been trying to do for decades. But Wile E. wouldn’t be baited into having a meltdown over someone else’s achievement. “We cannot judge our worth on the work of others,” he said, pointing to the sign for extra emphasis.

Preach on, brother.
