Zendaya says working on Spider-Man is "coming home"
This July, you can see Zendaya and Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey

This summer, Tom Holland is set to star as Telemachus in Christopher Nolan's adaptation of The Odyssey. And while his character will be pining for the return of his father, Odysseus, Holland's fiancée, Zendaya, will be playing the goddess Athena.
But The Odyssey isn't the only "homecoming" that Zendaya and Holland are slated for this year. Of course, two weeks after The Odyssey opens, Marvel Studios will release Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
In an interview with Elle, Zendaya addressed what it's like working on the MCU Spider-Man movies with her fiancé, Tom Holland. "And then Spider-Man was a dream; I get to go to work every day with my best friend, the person that I love. We bring our dogs to work; it’s like a family affair. We grew up on those movies! It’s like coming home," Zendaya said.
The first MCU Spidey movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, came out nearly a decade ago in 2017, which feels surreal to say now. So you could say it's certainly been an odyssey bringing Peter Parker and MJ to life onscreen all these years. Sorry, I'll show myself out now.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is released in theaters July 31.
