What is Thrilljoy? A look at former Funko owner Brian Mariotti's next big thing, debuting at NYCC 2024

Brian Mariotti helped build Funko into what it is today, and he is looking to do it again with Thrilljoy.

Don't miss New York Comic Con 2024, happening October 17 through 20. Popverse will be there all four days, immersing ourselves in the pop culture party full of vendors, events, and celebrities from the worlds of comics, movies, TV, gaming, and more. Buy tickets now!

There's a major new pop culture brand on the horizon - and it's being led by two of the top players of Funko... including a former owner.

As Funko sits as one of the major collectibles brands in the market, the company's former CEO (and CCO and owner) Brian Mariotti has reteamed with a fellow Funko alum, its one time licensing & business development VP Dolly Ahluwalia-Kallemyen, on a new collectibles company titled Thrilljoy.

Thrilljoy hasn't released any details of exactly what its plans are for the collectibles market, but Popverse can confirm that the founders have been visiting various conventions and also have begun staffing up the company. And from the looks of it, their big unveiling will be this October at New York Comic Con.

Thrilljoy will be exhibiting at NYCC 2024 with a booth at #1023, just a few slots down from Funko (at #1000 and #1012, respectively). We expect to hear some announcements about Thrilljoy leading up to its debut October 17 at New York Comic Con.
