RuPaul's DragCon 2023: Catch the best looks
You only wish you could be so stylish
If there’s one thing that could be expected from a convention centered around drag, it’s outrageous, wonderful, stylish lewks. (If there are two things, it would be lewks and a good sense of humor, but we’re not doing a comedy round-up here, people.)
RuPaul’s DragCon took place this past weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with guests including Alaska, Jaida Essence Hall, Shea Couleé, and Popverse favorite Baga Chipz — and Popverse’s own Ashley Victoria Robinson was there for the entire weekend, taking names and kicking ass, as is her style.
She was also recording some of the best outfits from the weekend event for posterity, so that we can present them to you right here. This isn’t cosplay, and this isn’t even necessarily fashion, per se — instead, it’s drag, something that takes elements of both and transforms them into something uniquely, beautifully expressive and stylish to tell the world exactly who you are and what you’re here for.
