The 2024 Los Angeles Comic Con dates put it right next to New York Comic Con

Popverse is onsite at Los Angeles Comic Con this weekend, and we already have news when the next event is going to occur - and its sooner than you'd think.

After three years a December show, LA Comic Con is moving up in 2024 to October 4 through 6. While that might seem early for the show, for its first nine years it moved around between mid-September and early November - and only started doing December dates following the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

But these 2024 LACC dates do put it precariously close to another big show - albeit on the other side of the country. LACC 2024 is two weeks before New York Comic Con 2024, which is October 17 through 20 of the year. While it being on two sides of the US and two weeks apart doesn't seem like much of an overlap, but for those who do these kinds of show as business - be it vendors, comic creators, and press (hey, that's us!) - it will be a busy October.
