What’s worse than having to deal with the monstrous arthropod creatures known as scarabs that have been plaguing the world in the second season of Apple TV’s Monsterverse series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters? Surviving a stampede of them as they’re called into action — and that's exactly the situation that Kurt Russell's Lee Shaw finds himself in with the next episode, 'Furusato'... and we have an exclusive clip of how it all gets started.

For those who haven't been keeping up with Monarch, we'll tell you what you need to know. This particular installment of Monsterverse franchise (the series that gave the world Godzilla x Kong, Skull Island, and other kaiju-flavored treats) goes deep inside the lore of the whole thing, as the quasi-estranged Randa family seeks to uncover their own connection to the giant monsters terrorizing the planet. The key to everything may be Lee Shaw — an army veteran with a connection to Monarch, an organization set up to investigate the creatures half a century ago. The show unfolds in two parallel time periods, with two actors playing Shaw: Kurt Russell in the 21st century, and his son Wyatt Russell in the past. 

Sound fun? It definitely is, even though the characters themselves might not agree when this kind of things happens...
