How farts can help you find your soulmate, according to Bob's Burgers cast
Forget love languages: Bob’s Burgers stars say the only dating rule that matters is “don’t fear the fart”.

Bob’s Burgers is an animated comedy about a family that runs a burger restaurant. The adult animated series has been running for 16 seasons and has won two Primetime Emmy Awards.
Does that make them qualified to give relationship advice? Maybe, but my therapist has never won a Primetime Emmy, so it couldn’t hurt to listen to them. In fact, the voice cast behind the hit series had some interesting (if not crude) things to say about finding true love.
“Make sure you are valued. You’ve got to pitch in,” Kristen Schaal tells Popverse. “You’ve got to replace the toilet paper roll. Make sure they do that,” John Roberts adds.
“You’ve got to clean up. Do nice things and just listen and be there for the other person. But don’t let the other person not let you do your fun stuff,” Schaal continues. “And cry whenever you’re criticized so they stop,” Eugene Mirman says.
This is where the most important thing was mentioned – the fart test.
“Definitely don’t be afraid to fart in front of them. If you are afraid to fart, they are not for you,” Schaal says. “Do the fart test right away. Like on the first date,” Roberts adds. “Bring a Ziploc that you farted in. And then be like, ‘Is this okay? Because this is forever,’” Mirman says.
It turns out the Belcher actors are closer to their onscreen counterparts than any of us thought. Still, that advice isn’t bad. I would save the Ziploc bag for the third date, though.
