Chicago Med season 11 release date: When the Dick Wolf series returns to NBC

Chicago Med is the third installment in the One Chicago franchise on NBC.

It's almost time to check back in at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. The third series in the Chicago franchise, Chicago Med, is returning for season 11 on NBC this fall. Created by Dick Wolf, Chicago Med joined Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. just over a decade ago, in 2015. So when can you expect the release date for the eleventh season of Chicago Med to arrive?

The Chicago Med season 11 release date is Wednesday, October 1 at 8/7c on NBC. This will make it part of the "One Chicago" night on NBC, as that date will also feature the season premieres of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. After it debuts, the remaining episodes in the season will air on a weekly basis in the same time slot. And they'll be available for streaming the next day on Peacock. Of course, you'll have to mark your calendar for many exciting TV release dates this fall. Currently, there is no trailer available for Chicago Med season 11.

Chicago Med's cast includes Darren Barnet as Dr. John Frost, Marlyne Barrett as Maggie Lockwood, S. Epatha Merkerson as Sharon Goodwin, Luke Mitchell as Dr. Mitch Ripley, Oliver Platt as Dr. Daniel Charles, Sarah Ramos as Dr. Caitlin Lenox, Jessy Schram as Dr. Hannah Asher and Steven Weber as Dr. Dean Archer. The new season will have some questions to answer, including regarding the fate of Dr. Charles' family, who faced plenty of peril in the show's tenth season. And there's also the question of who the father of Dr. Asher's baby might be.

Chicago Med season 11 debuts on NBC on October 1.
