The Critical Role cartoon Legend of Vox Machina to end after season 5 - but we have two seasons to go from Prime Video!

Also announced - The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 will air on Prime Video some time in 2026

Good and bad news out of San Diego Comic Con for all your Critters out there. Appearing at a con panel to share some exclusives and news, the cast of Critical Role - that is, Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Liam O'Brien, Ashley Johnson, Taliesin Jaffe, and Marisha Ray - announced that a fifth seaosn of hit animated Critical Role adaptation The Legend of Vox Machina, which airs on Amazon's Prime Video, is officially working on a fifth season.

Unfortunately, the The Legend of Vox Machina's fifth season will also be its last.

The news comes form none other than DM Matthew Mercer himself, who told the packed room at the San Diego Convention Center at the tail end of their panel. Announced just moments before from Travis Willingham, who plays the series' large and lovable Grog Strongjaw, was the fact that Vox Machina season 4, exclusive moments of which the crowd got to see, would premiere some time in 2026.

Critical Role's The Legend of Vox Machina is streaming on Prime Video now.
