Bringing Daredevil: Born Again to Disney+ was a mammoth undertaking for Marvel Studios. It had been seven years since the Netflix series had aired its last season, so fans had to wait a long time. Then came the well-documented retool and extensive reshoots that saw Season 1 delayed until 2025. Now we’re all waiting for the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 release date to finally arrive.
Thankfully, it won’t be another seven years before we see Charlie Cox back under the cowl as Daredevil. Disney has confirmed that the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 release date will be March 4, 2026. That is exactly one year since Season 1 debuted on Disney+ in 2025. Marvel Studios hasn’t confirmed the release schedule for the new season, however. Season 1 released the first two episodes at the same time, with new episodes airing weekly afterward. Presumably, Season 2 will follow a similar pattern, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
What has been confirmed is that at least one additional character from the Netflix Marvel shows will be returning for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Krysten Ritter will be back as Jessica Jones. However, Jon Bernthal wouldn’t be back as Punisher for a second season, as his character would have his story wrapped up in a Punisher TV special instead. Scream and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 star Matthew Lillard is joining the cast as Mr. Charles, but few other details about his role have been revealed.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is out on Disney+ on March 4, 2026.
